Consider Risk Mitigation When Setting A Mobile Management Strategy image 271996 l srgb s glIn my previous blogs around Mobile Enterprise, I really focused on the topics like how to implement a successful mobile strategy and how to get fast results out of your implementation.

In this article, I would like to emphasize on how to mitigating your risks for your mobile management strategy. It is all about putting a comprehensive risk management strategy in place on a human as well as IT level within the enterprise.

As more and more Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) strategies evolves and employees are using their mobile devices for internal as well as external communication purposes, not only by law, you need to take care of your security.

Following a selected considerations for your Mobile Enterprise:

  • Security Policy: Most importantly, your employees need to be aware of your company security policy ? how information is classified from ?for internal use only? to ?customer?. Also, every employee has to accept the policy.
  • Encryption mechanism: Have an encryption mechanism in place in order to sent sensitive/internal information via mobile devices.
  • Train your employees on how to use corporate devices as well as private ones when used within the corporate network.

Feel free to comment and share with us your mobile management strategy, as well as how you mitigate risk.
