That's meant sometimes doing stuff in situations where others will be there, but I'd tended to go for structured circumstances and never got to know people or involved with them outside of those activities.
I've never been much of a team sport person - too much standing around waiting for other people to do things I guess, and not always things which are interesting to watch.

I get not liking repetitive, but wow treadmill is as repetitive as you can get. I used to run outside to train for fitness but all I can really manage on one of those is a warmup before i work out, lol.

ditto. Back in high school, I tried the whole party scene. Most of the people in that group would spend hours talking about hockey players and football (american). I personally never understood the fascination they had with it.
I don't hate professional sports, but I find a really hard time sustaining any interest the way others seem to - most people have role models in their sport at least, and some people seem to be obsessed with professional sportspeople in sports they don't even play.
I don't hate them or hate it, I just lack the motivation/interest. If I'm doing a sport, I'm more interested in what I'd doing at the time. Never had any role models as a child and its always been one thing that has set me apart from others in the sense it seems a large part of what they socialise around that I just haven't been able to develop an interest in.
The DSM let me off on a technicality.
